These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ROBIN J NOYES-MGUIRE online store at robinmguire.shop and all courses and sessions bought through it.
Agreement
By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked below. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.
Products and orders
We describe each course and session as accurately as we can, including what is included, how long access lasts and what the session covers. An order is an offer to buy; we may decline it for pricing errors, suspected fraud or a conflict of interest, and we will refund anything already paid. Course content is updated from time to time; the outline on the product page is what you are buying, not a guarantee of a particular lesson.
Licence and acceptable use
Buying a course gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to view the lessons and use the workbook for your own study. You may print your workbook. You may not share sign-in details, resell or redistribute the lessons or workbooks, publish them, or use them to teach others for payment. Session recordings are for your personal revision and may not be published or shared.
You may not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the catalogue, or use the site unlawfully.
Academic integrity
We teach writing; we do not write assignments for you. Feedback, model paragraphs and plans are teaching material, and submitting them as your own work is your decision and your responsibility. We do not guarantee a grade, a mark, an exam result or an admission outcome, and we will not help with work that is meant to be completed under exam or assessment conditions where outside help is not permitted.
Sessions
Sessions run over video at the time you book, in Pacific Time. Please arrive on time: a session that starts late still ends at the booked time. Sessions may be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before they start, as set out in the Refund and Return Policy. We may end a session if behaviour is abusive or if the material turns out to be work you are meant to submit as your own.
Prices, tax and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout from your billing address. Payment is taken at the time of order. We may change prices at any time, but not after an order is accepted.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund and Return Policy and our Delivery and Access Policy, which form part of these Terms.
Intellectual property
The ROBIN J NOYES-MGUIRE name, course videos, workbooks, plans and site copy belong to ROBIN J NOYES-MGUIRE and may not be reused without permission. Your own work remains yours.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROBIN J NOYES-MGUIRE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including exam results or admission decisions. Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including implied warranties that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington.
