What is actually in a course?
Video lessons, a downloadable workbook, and worked examples — a model essay marked up line by line, a completed plan, or a past paper with the marks explained. Each product page lists the number of lessons, their length and the workbook page count. There are no live calls inside a course; if you want a person to look at your work, that is a session.
How long do I keep access?
You choose at checkout: 30 days, 12 months, or lifetime. The period starts the day your sign-in email is sent, not the day you pay, and it can be extended at any time by paying the difference. Workbooks download as PDFs and stay on your device even after access ends.
How soon does access arrive?
Within one business day, usually within a few hours during Pacific Time business hours. If nothing arrives, check spam and then email admin@robinmguire.shop with your order number.
Sessions
What happens in a session?
You send the draft, plan or past paper at least 48 hours ahead. I read and annotate it before we meet, then we spend the call on the two or three decisions that would change the work most. Afterwards you get the recording and a written summary within one business day.
Which session do I need?
Essay Review if you have a draft and want it marked honestly. Study Planning Call if the problem is time — too much to do and no plan. Exam Prep Intensive if you have an exam coming and a past paper you have already attempted. If you are between two, email and describe the situation; I will tell you which one, including when the answer is neither.
Time zones and booking
Sessions run Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Pacific Time. Your receipt contains a booking link; the calendar shows your local time. Book at least 48 hours ahead where possible, so there is time to read your material before the call.
Can I move or cancel a session?
Yes — free of charge up to 24 hours before the booked time. Inside 24 hours the session is charged, except for illness or an emergency. Session packs keep their unused balance indefinitely.
Payment, tax and refunds
What about sales tax?
Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address. Courses are taxable in Washington State, where we are based (9.4% for a Monroe address). If you are outside Washington, your state’s rules apply and checkout will show what is due.
Can I get a refund?
Courses: 14 days from purchase, no questions asked, as long as the materials have not been redistributed. Sessions: free cancellation up to 24 hours before; packs refundable on the unused balance within 14 days. The full detail is in the Refund and Return Policy.
Academic integrity
Will you write my essay?
No. I will show you how an essay is built, mark yours honestly, and explain what to change. A model paragraph is teaching material, not a paragraph you submit — submitting it as your own is your decision, and it is not what you are paying for.
